Mysterious Phantom

Throughout the history of men, there have been reported sighting of various phantoms, the Spring Heeled Jack, The Spring Man of Prague, The rooftop Madman, The Shadowmen and others.

And there are other reported sightings of different phantoms all over the world that are too bizarre.  One would be the Grinning Man also known as The Indrid Cold which was first sighted in New Jersey during the 1960s.  The description of the Grinning Man matches the several phantoms that were previously reported, tall with shinny eyes.  But unlike the others, the face of the grinning man is said to be visible.  It has a wide grin but does not have ears and nose.

In 1966 of October, James Yanchitis and Marvin Munoz saw an eerie looking man standing behind the fence.  They described the strange man as possessing “big grin”.  Someone near the area also reported about being chased by the strange man.

In November of the same year Woodrow Derenberger was on his way home when he heard a loud crash.  He stopped his vehicle and saw a vehicle next to him.  A creature came out of the vehicle that bears a striking resemblance to the strange man that Munoz and Yanchitis saw.  It was also sighted in Point Pleasant, West Virginia where the Mothman was sighted.

Then there was a Slenderman who was first created as fictional character in a forum site.  Apparently someone with a username “Victor Surge” posted a black and white photo of children and pasted a picture of a slender, tall man wearing a black suit at the back.

But the “alleged” fake photo started to create the legend, as more and more people shared an incident concerning the Slenderman.  Even the popular game Minecraft added a character Enderman with the characteristic of the said phantom.  Not only that, the slenderman was said to be the cause of the attack of the two twelve year old girl to their classmate.  They said that they wished to commit murder as a first step of becoming this phantom.  There were all in all 3 inspired attacks that can be linked to the Slenderman.
